My kids love eating Firecracker pops because they have riddles printed on their sticks. The set-up is on the part of the stick that pokes out from the bottom of the frozen treat, but you won’t find the answer until you’ve eaten every last bite.
This afternoon, Anthony handed me a sticky, blue, popsicle-less stick, and I read him this riddle: “Why couldn’t the glass fool anyone?”
Throwing his arms in the air, Ant cried out, “Because he’s insane!”
Insane? Wow, not even near right, but you’ve got to love the kid’s vocabulary.
In case you’re wondering, the real answer is “People could see right through him.”
