Guess my age …

stoplight

Sometimes I wonder how old my kids think I am.

Because today, on the ride home from school, Cera said to me, “Mom, tell me about some things that weren’t around when you were a kid. Like stoplights.”

  1. That is hilarious!! You know to kids anyone over the age of twenty is ancient! If you really want to flip her out tell her about the days of records and tapes instead of MP3’s and how the tv only had 3 channels and you had to get up and go to the tv to change the channel!

  2. LOL…love Cera!

  3. Jamie, you’ve just got to get used to the fact that kids think their parents are older than dirt. It sucks, I know. All my friends who have kids do the same thing to their parents, me and anyone else who’s older than 14. And the bad part is, when they hit the teenage years, you’re gonna be even older than God and dirt put together. Sometimes I’m glad I don’t have kids because of that!
