Sunday was a long day. We started off at the Caniac Carnival at the RBC Center and then traveled a few miles east for the Walk for PKD on N.C. State’s Centennial Campus. The kids had a blast at the carnival and in the opening stages of the walk (this year’s organizers set up a children’s area with jump ropes, bouncy balls, bowling and other kid-friendly activities – bless them for that).
But once the walk started and in the time afterward, when my dad, sister and Jerry helped to break down the booths and load the trucks, Cera unleashed her favorite phrase: “I’m so bored.” She said it time and again before finally sitting down and dramatically throwing her head in her lap (she later turned around so that her back was facing me as well).
I couldn’t resist snapping a photo to show her when she has kids of her own.
And just to prove that Anthony is doing his best to follow in his big sister’s footsteps, this was taken after I told him we had to go inside after a long afternoon of baseball in the hot sun.
